I'm using a HP 2730p Notebook/tablet with XP and InfoPath 2007. I’m having a problem with Tablet Input Panel (TIP) and InfoPath pen entry in XP. When I use the TIP in any other application (Word, Notepad, WordPad, IE etc.) it allows me to correct inserted test by highlighting the text and...
I had the same problem. I was able to order a Recovery Disk with this OS directly from Fujitsu Tech Support for $28.30. I've read that the this Win XP Tablet PC Edition will run on other brands of tablet PCs however I recommend that you go to the actual manufacturer of your particular tablet. ...

I am trying to locate software which would allow writing on top of information on a screen. I am having a hard time asking what it would be called. Specifically, is there some kind of software that would allow the pen to be used like a telestrator on tv? I do trainings and this would be...

;) yea. I kind of figure that English isn't language #1 for the OP. Always impressed those folks even try to ask. They typically do way better than I could in my second language asking in a technical forum. Maybe he will ask again with some different words. If it is the logon password, Googling,...
Hi Everyone - I've looked for an answer in this group, but came up empty-handed, so here I am. When I ink something in the body of a new message, none of the ink shows up when received (I use a couple of my own email addresses to test) -- just typed text (I combined ink and text for the...

I have a new Lenovo X200 Tablet with the "Outdoor" display. The display is probably the best I've ever seen on a laptop and has *very* little grainyness. It has a coating like a high-end camera lense that seems very hard and has very little glare/reflectivity. It's a little on the pricey...

The simplest solution might be to open another journal window, past the selection there and print. The other thing you might try is cutepdf... adobe's output has been a pain for me and cutepdf seems to do much better in most cases... including speed. Beverly Howard

I also had the same problem. I had English Canada set up as my default language. I added English US and also added Tablet PC Text Insertion to the Advanced Text Services. After re-opening the writing pad, all 3 options were noe available. To do this: Open Control Panel, Regional and Language...
I've read many msgs ref. SP2's new input panel. I think I may have an undiscussed problem: when I open the TIP, the only option I have is the keyboard. When I move my cursor over the far left icons, the same balloon msg appears over both the "character pad" button and the "writing pad"...
Reading the link you posted, it does note that the writing area must be clear, but there is no easy way to clear it once inked. "insert" works to clear the input panel, but it first inserts what you need to <backspace> out ;-/ Beverly Howard
I was extremely disappointed with the TIP program as well, Write Anywhere on Pocket PC's worked like a charm, and after expecting more writing space on a tablet I ended up with less. I genuinely don't know why you'd then restrict the user to writing in a tiny 2x4" bubble that then expands to...
I recntly got an acer tablet pc and am very excited, but I am having a problem with the hard drive. It is FAT32 and the OS that is pre loaded takes up about 6gb and there is random files everywhere. I have used the supplied recovery disk but they are specific to ACER corp and will not let me do...

I have a CX200x from Gateway. The pen recently stopped working and since MS or Gateway would not help me I had to to a complete system recovery loosing everything. But even after I did the SR the pen still wont work. I hardly used the pen in the past. Does this pen have a battery? I have not...
